12345679 pattern

The number 12345679 (did you notice it has all numbers from 1 to 9 except 8) can be used to generate a cool pattern. Want to know how? Just multiply 12345679 with your favorite digit, say 5 and then again multiply the result (12345679 x 5 = 61728395) with 9. The end result will contain only your favorite digits, here it is 555555555.

12345679 x 1 x 9 = 111111111
12345679 x 2 x 9 = 222222222
12345679 x 3 x 9 = 333333333
12345679 x 4 x 9 = 444444444
12345679 x 5 x 9 = 555555555
12345679 x 6 x 9 = 666666666
12345679 x 7 x 9 = 777777777
12345679 x 8 x 9 = 888888888
12345679 x 9 x 9 = 999999999

Did you get the logic behind the pattern? It's simple, you are indirectly multiplying your favorite digit with 111111111 -
. product of 12345679 and 9.

By the way 12345679 multiplied by 8 gives a steplike product, i.e. 98765432
