Want to know more on larger numbers? Just refer the sites - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_of_large_numbers, http://www.unc.edu/~rowlett/units/large.html and http://www.uni-bonn.de/~manfear/numbers_names.php . Before just ending this article I would like to introduce you to the terms Googol and Googoplex.

Googol is a number one followed by 100 zeroes i.e, 10100 and Googolplex is a number one with a googol of zeroes i.e, 10googol 1010100.

That's all about the large numbers...hope this article was informative...do leave your comments / questions if any.

The naming of large numbers is done for every 10 power 3n+3. For example,
n=0 -> 10 power 3 -> Thousand
n=1 -> 10 power 6 -> Million
n=2 -> 10 power 9 -> Billion
So on and so forth. Hope your question is answered.
